I was struggling really badly with Chemistry because there were many things that I could not understand and my mole calculation skills were atrocious. I never really paid much attention in class and even though my school teacher did her best to help the class understand in her own way, I never really understood much and I am not fond of asking for help in school.

Nearing my O level examinations, I had gotten help from Mr Roy and I was really impressed. He had enlightened me on so much in one and a half hours – more than what my own Chemistry teacher taught me in a year. I was really shocked at how simple things were once he explained it to me. He simplified things and chemical calculations had been much more manageable. He did his best to help me in whichever way he could; lending me his textbook and giving me so many papers to practice.

He’s a very funny and cheerful person, making chemistry tuition bearable, as much as I hated the subject. He can joke around, get the job done, and thanks to him, I gained so much more confidence when taking the examinations. I would definitely recommend everyone struggling in sciences like me to seek help from him because he is a great and knowledgeable teacher.
